Case Western Alternate List

I got my letter today from Case Western Reserve University..
and obviously it was.. small,,, skinny,, envelope
but then i wasn't flat out rejected (maybe they wanted to, but felt bad)
they put me in an alternate list

is anyone in the same boat with me?

i signed up to be an alternate.
from here on, what should i do?

do i have a chance?
i really really really want to go to CWR

thank you.

The same thing happened to me! I REALLY REALLY want to go to case also! Hopefully we will both get a spot. usually 1/3 of the students put on the alternate list opt out, the rest remain waiting (like me and you), it is MUCH better than being rejected, killing all chances and hope. I would rather be on the alternate list than rejected, but is being on the alternate list mean you are accepted but need space or what?
