Case Western Merit Scholarships... who exactly are they "open to"?

None of the full-tuition scholarships look like they apply to those in the school of nursing. To be considered for a full-ride merit, would I have to apply to a Natural Sciences and Math program?

You need to call them and ask. At many schools, nursing students are not eligible for a lot of the merit awards that are offered. They often do not even mingle with the undergraduates at college after freshman year, as they end up at a hospital setting, closer to the medical and Health Services students also housed there I do not know how it works specifically for CWU

Nursing students would be eligible for:
Bolton Scholarship
Named for Frances Payne Bolton, one of the founders of our nursing school, and honoring students who show exceptional promise in the field of nursing and who have not been selected for another scholarship

Seems like you would be eligible for:
Milton A. and Roslyn Z. Wolf Scholarship
All first-year students can apply for this four-year scholarship, in the amount of tuition, room, board, fees, books and elective summer experiences that provide life-shaping practical knowledge. It is awarded based first upon character or demonstrated potential to be a leader, and secondly upon academic performance, intellect and accomplishments.

and of course

University Scholarship
Recognizing outstanding academic and personal achievement among first-year applicants
(which would probably not be full ride but $20-30Kish)

What is your GPA and SAT/ACT? Would your stats be reasonable for a full ride?

@cptofthehouse At Case, nursing students definitely socialize with many other Case students and live with students of a variety of majors, at sororities, fraternities, dorms and off campus housing. The 3rd and 4th year nursing majors do start classes a little earlier, about a week or two earlier, to get some clinicals finished, and senior year is almost all clinical rotations. They get a great education, given the variety of hospitals available, University Hospital, Cleveland Clinic and the VA Hospital. (We know a nursing graduate who was able to get a neonatal nursing position at U of Rochester Hospital, with great pay and another graduate who got hired at a hospital in Seattle WA).
