Which is better for Computer engineering, out of Case Western and University of California Davis?. Finance is not an issue. Both schools offered similar financial packages.
I am looking for job placement , research opportunities and a good standard of teaching. Thanks
I am not sure about Case Western but Davis’s computer engineering program is basically an EE degree with a bunch of computer science courses thrown in. Because of that the professors in computer engineering tend to do research in computer architecture/organization and EE-based topics and they all pretty much know their stuff. I thought the standard of teaching there was good, at least when I was there.
There’s pretty decent job opportunities given Davis’ proximity to Intel’s Folsom office and all of the Silicon Valley tech companies.
