case western vs rose hulman

Hi I am new to this forum. I know that RHIT comes under a different category. Still, can someone suggest which would be better in terms of getting a good undergraduate engineering degree?

Thanks

definitely Rose-Hulman

Agree, definitely Rose-Hulman in engineering.

Tempted to say whichever offers better financial aid. CWRU will probably offer a better package percentage wise, but in absolute dollars RHIT will probably be less. And even though it is private, if you are in-state you might be able to get additional Indiana scholarships for RHIT. Both are very expensive, especially Case Western.
Unfortunately we had to turn down offers from both of these due to insufficient aid. Otherwise, it would have been a tough choice between them if financing was not an issue. Would probably have chosen RHIT in the end. I suspect Case is a common alternative choice for those considering Rose-Hulman. Now if CMU or Rice or Harvey Mudd was a choice…

case for the versatility… you never know if you ever want to change your mind and major in something else

I heard that RHIT has includee biochemistry and international studies as a course. There is applied biology and biomed also.
