CB is trying to steal my money =P

I'm registering late for the May 7th SAT. Even though I'm registering late, do I still get to send my score report to 4 schools for free?

pretty sure, yeah. can't you just look at how much you paid and figure it out?

Ya they're doing the same thing to me and i registered on time!!!! I need to call them tomorrow about this! Because i'm not paying $36 for something that should be FREE!

Yeah, I thought they were free, but CB is charging me for it. That's why I'm asking

They did the same thing to me and so I chose not to send my scores to any schools. I thought it was free, too.

Anybody have the official word as to why this is happening?

i'm calling them now to see....ok you have to call them and they will change it for you. But if you registered late i think she said that there will be a fee if it has been a week after you registered. Well you guys should call and make sure.

"CB is trying to steal my money"

so what's new?

Not to steal the thread or anything but how do you report the previous SATs you've taken to colleges if you're done with your SATs and have don't have to take it in October? And do you send in your SAT scores to colleges already? Isn't it too early for ED/EA?

I think you can send scores whenever you want, and colleges that receive them will just keep them on file until they receive your application. Probably check the CB website, there's a service on there for sending scores to colleges.

People who registered early - did anyone NOT have to pay the extra money?

People who registered late - did anyone NOT have to pay the extra money?

I'm having the same problem, but for June SAT IIs.

I registered early and i dont have to pay the fees...i sent it to Duke, UVA, the Citadel and UF...yay!

me too. I registered early for the sat IIs, I didnt have to pay additional fees. wierd...

do you have to send your scores or can you choose where to send them when your doing your college apps

u do it when college apps CB is just trying to make money by making it seem that way so youll send it to like 345235 colleges

Extremefob, when you choose to send scores with your registration, its free for up to 4 schools, but when you send them later, it costs $7, I believe

I've already taken the SAT three times, and this has always been the rule. But this time CB seems to be charging some people (arbitrary?) fees to send your scores to those first 4 schools.

God College Board is such a money making machine! They charge you to take a test that is virtually mandatory. They then charge you prior to giving you the results (Unless you want to wait an extra two weeks to have them sent to you). Further, they charge you to get the corrections. And finally they charge you to send your scores... is it just me or is this wrong? What a pain.

...bump...

yeah user_name i think they should jsut charge us one lump sum of 45234632636 dollars and get it out of the way.
