Seems like A LOT of the threads posted here are variations on the same few kinds of threads...and at the moment I happen to be curious of about how many.

I'll get the ball rolling

-"Do (adjective) guys/girls find (adjective [esp. race], verb, or noun) attractive?"
-"I'm a college (year) and have few/bad/no friends, what do I do?"
-"Does _____ look bad to peers/professors/(post-undergrad entity)?"
-"Which college has the best/worst ___?"
-"How do I get good grades?"
-"I flunked/nearly failed/didn't show up to __ How can I still pass?"
-"Is ________ difficult/easy?"

And my favorite:

-"Why do (group) always seem to (behavior)??"

My favorite: “I’m unintelligent and have no friends, but it’s because I’m so unintelligent that I’m super-intelligent and everyone is jealous, including my professor. And God.”

The College Life sub-forum once actually had decent threads, believe it or not. Now I find myself rarely visiting College Life as it has mostly stupid **** like the stuff you’ve mentioned.

Outside of total “newbs”, it’s the same handful of people who are collectively ruining this section of the board with stupid, irrelevant threads. I like some of the discussion, but a lot of it has absolutely nothing to do with college life.
