CC Associates transfer to University

I am starting my second semester at a community college. My G.P.A. from first semester was 3.3 and I have put a plan in the way to maintain I get Straight A's. and Possibly a B until I graduate. I plan on graduating and receiving my associates degree and seek a major in Business Management. I am looking at Universities to transfer to, and would like some input, suggestions, and hindsight on the universities I am picking and about my resume.

p.s. I am a hispanic/african-american student

Several questions: Should I include hs curriculars when applying?
Will my ACT score impact my admissions to a school? I received a 25 (i am considering retaking it in February)
Will my hs transcripts matter?
I was admitted to Miami University, but had to attend CC because it was paid for and could did not want to take out loans to go to another university. Are my chances of getting into Miami High?

My hs extracurriculars include:

hs-Class VP
hs-3 sport athlete-Captain
hs-In several clubs and community organizations
hs-Started a program in town
hs-Served 2 years on a non-profit board
College-Serve on a national board
College-national non-profit director of marketing

I have not been as heavily involved with extra-curriculars as I was in hs because they were not as time consuming as they are now. Should I try to get involved in more? or is 2 enough?

I have a job history of working for: A newspaper company
Umpiring
Food Service
And most recently an internship with a Fortune 30 company

My hs gpa was a 3.2 and I would like to have my college gpa be greater to show my 'growth' is this ideal?

What are the chances of me transferring to these schools with an associates:

Miami University of Ohio

Emory University

Northwestern

Lehigh University

Rice University

Vassar University

Washington St. Louis

Indiana University

Michigan University

University of N. Carolina

University of Virginia

Baylor

Westpoint Military Academy

Thank you in advance for the help!

Hm, it’s hard to say your chances considering you are thinking 3 semesters in the future thinking of higher grades than you have previously gotten. Getting straight A’s is not easy as you found out last semester.

If you really do succeed with the straight A’s from here on out then your chances are good at most of those schools. Realistically is this likely? I don’t know.

As for ECs… I would make sure they really mean something. I don’t know what you mean by sitting on a ‘national board’. Board of what? Something important or something you made up?

The Common App allows for you to enter EC’s from Junior year of high school up through college. So yes put applicable h.s. ECs if you fill that out. For individual schools’ applications you will have to see what their apps ask for. I would mainly concentrate on college only adding those exceptional HS activities.

BUMP

I wasn’t as prepared for the adjustment balancing work, school, and free time, plus the freedom that comes with college. Since, I have a much better feel how to manage my priorities I feel much more prepared.

As for the board, it’s very prestigious and I know that in its self is a major EC
