celebrian... i won't be ur colord?... i'm offended... lol sorry for the confusion...

haha isn't it funny how so many ouf our threads have nothing to do with the original topic?

hmmm, the previous is an interesting and thought provoking post

or is it... ok it is...

ermm...I never thought of it as thought provoking :p

well it is!!!! :p

i personally believe, that if some of these crazy conservatives were banned, ten we can have debated without prejudice or personal attacks.

how bout the crazy liberals? how about we don't start attacking one group without fair cause...

It would kind of defeat the purpose if a debate only had one side. I agree that both sides have gotten out of hand at times (especially one person on the Democratic side), but that is the nature of a debate in an uncontrolled environment.

I think the point of this thread was to adress the very issue you guys seem to be starting again

Yes you are right. There are some conservatives who just ruin a debate just because they cannot defend their arguments (there is a conservative who shows this quality greatly).

If there was really a debate with a controlled envuronment, the conservatives would perform as bad as Bush did in all his debated with Kerry. At cc, the conservatives take advantage of the fact that they can make personal attacks on any liberal they want.

and at the same time... liberals would be flip flopping their arguments to fit the situation... how bout we stop talking about politics in the freakin cafe?

cujoe, why dont you show us an example of any one of us liberals flip-flopping? You may have probably mistaken some conservatives for liberals. End of story. No more politics from me!

Yes Cujoe! While I occaisonally say I'm a liberal, I'm more a moderate than anything. Did people not get the point of this thread?

This thread is funny. "CC has gotten so UPTIGHT!" Meanwhile, everyone continues to argue. I think there should be an unwritten rule against arguing politics.

I agree. No one changes their mind about what political party they belong to just because someone on cc said they should. Sooner or later (and usually sooner) debates turn into flaming contests

Well debates can be civiled if people actually defended their points and most importantly, stopped making personal attacks.

cough john kerry cough what? oh i'm sorry i didn't read the last 3 posts... won a purple heart my ass, he wounded himself with a grenade... k, i'm done... oh and i actually have no problem with liberals, i just don't like the pseudo radical ones i.e. michael moore who thinks by preaching reform, that he's making the world a better place

I also agree. I don't like radicals on either side of the spectrum. I don't know why people bother talking about politics (on cc).
