CC Life vs Actual College Life

Someone reassure me that going to community college is not the end of the world and that I'm missing out life. I'm so worried because my best friends are going away and I'm stuck at home going to cc because of money issues. I'm trying to look on the bright side but its a little hard. Like its going to be so difficult I feel like meeting new people, parties, and just new and different opportunities. Basically that it is definitely going to be a different ballgame. Does anyone else happen to feel like this?

Buckle down, focus on school, accept that social life won’t exist much and you probably won’t get to party much at a typical CC. If it’s one of the few with dorms that might change, but for the most part people show up, go to class, and go home. You can still make friends in classes, just say hi and be friendly. And your CC will probably have some student clubs, try joining some of those if you want to be involved. It won’t be nearly as lively or social as a 4 year school, but if you don’t want to be totally lonely you don’t have to. Just stick it out for a couple years and transfer somewhere else, then you can save some money overall and still get the typical college experience later.
