Alright, decided to start a separate thread. THIS DOESN"T MEAN I’M THE ORGANIZER!! (lol)

Date and location to be determined. Potentially Michigan. Could be Southwest Michigan-ish to draw in some Chicago area folks. Could be Ann Arbor area.

Some talk of October. I’m pretty flexible.

Chime in with your name and approximate location (“abasket”, Northwest Ohio) if you may be interested. No firm obligation yet!

I’d prefer something off 23 and west instead of having to drive into Detroit. But I can come south because that’s where most people live. But as always I’m flexible

I will be in the Grand Rapids area sometime in October. We’ll be driving through from ME to AZ stopping to visit friends, so we’ll drive wherever the meetup is if the date works with our eventual trip plan.

Please don’t plan around me - between work and kids, I’m not a sure thing, but will definitely be following, since October in the lower half of lower MI should be no problem distance-wise. Until fall school and sports stuff is settled, I’ll be a hopeful maybe. Thanks!

Count me in. ChoatieMom, thumper1 and I got together last month for lunch. CCers are a nice group. What about roaming_____, the woman who has two young kids?

Also (unless anyone has a problem with this…) ANY current CC’er can attend, right? If someone says “I’ve always wanted to visit Michigan AND meet @kelsmom so maybe I’ll plan an October trip”???

So I don’t remember her screen name or the number of kids she had, but I’m pretty sure she lives in the Detroit area. :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

Yes, last I knew, @romanigypsyeyes lived west of Detroit (nearer to AA, I think).

I can’t figure out how to msg all the people interested in the Minneapolis meetup so I am tagging them here as we are in the Midwest. I think if I tag them all here, I’ll be able to take this to a msg. Personally, I’d rather do that than post details in a thread. If any of the peeps below have a better idea, let me know! Gracias!

This is our last trip, though. We are building a garage behind our cabin this summer and flying out once it’s built and we buy another car. Then, the insanity stops. This particular insanity anyway.
