<p>im applying to 12, 7 public and 5 private.</p>
<p>I haven't got the final list yet - I know that sounds ridiculous, but its still fluid - in fact I dropped Case off my list yesterday. </p>
<p>With that in mind...I have applied to 6 already (and been accepted at 2), finishing up 4 today or tomorrow - and then have another 17 on my regular admit list, which I will probably cut down a bit.</p>
<p>Bottom line: I will probably end up applying to about 20 schools.</p>
<p>Was around 12, then got into Umich, so it's at 7 or less right now.</p>

<p>I applied to alot, but I think if I had it to do over I would had removed 2 or 3 that I know I have no intention of going to. I wasted that $100</p>

<p>does applying to more schools, decrease your odds of being accepted. I heard that all colleges share information on who applies to their schools, and applying to too many makes you seem indecisive or under confident.</p>

<p>i know people that have applied to 19 schools. WHY? I feel that's pretty unnecessary. It just makes your end decision even harder because you may have so many schools to choose from. That's crazy!</p>
