CC to UC to CC to UC - UCI Fall 2020 Transfer

In spring of 2019 I finished my IGETC and decided to transfer to UCSB in fall of 2019. After spending a quarter at UCSB I decided it wasn’t the school for me so I applied to transfer to UCI and go back to CC for the rest of my school year.

Is there anyone on here that is transferring from UC to UC or is in a similar situation as I am? I heard it’s hard to transfer from UC to UC but I’m wondering if I went back to CC it would be a lot easier for me to get into UCI. I also talked to my honors advisor when I went back to CC and she certified me for Honors to Honors, but seeing from other threads all Honors Transfers have received their admission to UCI already.

A little bit different but similar I went from a CC to a CSU to a CC and now will most likely be going to a UC. So its a kind of an area with a lot of grey as to whats permitted ans whats not. For example, I completed close to 60 LOWER DIVISION units at my CSU (this is key) and now I have completed close to 70 at a CC over the last three years. Becuase my classes from CSU were all lower division, I am still eligible as a junior transfer. I have 120 semester units total from CSU and CC, but they will only accept 70 semester units or 105 quarter units (these are equivalent). I still get “credit” for the other classes but not the units. The key answer to your question is - If you are applying with lower division classes from a CCC to a UC you are considered a CCC transfer, not a UC transfer.
