as you may know, chemistry has a lot of prerequisites and is very unit heavy, my question is that when i finish the prerequisites i will have more than the 60 transferable units, lets say i end up with 90, will this prevent me from being accepted?? am i better of going with something like psychology that doesn’t have that many prerequisites? please help, thanks
Non-UC lower division credit is limited to 70 semester units (105 quarter units) for the purpose of credit toward the 120 semester units (180 quarter units) to graduate. This also means that only 70 semester units of such credit will be counted against the limitation for transfer applicants, so you will not be in danger of having too many units to transfer, unless you take some courses at a UC or some upper division courses at any university.
You will get subject credit for all courses taken when you transfer.
