<p>I remember my first year at CCC I applied for the Cal Grant, and since then I never had to do anything myself, but rather the Cal Grant would be automatically reapplied to my name..</p>
<p>I'm now however wondering if I need to reapply for the Cal Grant, now that i'm going to a UC, or if indeed it still follows me from CCC w/o my needing to do anything about it?</p>
<p>…I’ know its a really simple question, with perhaps an even simpler answer…but I’m really wondering how the Cal Grant works when transferring…</p>

<p>Thank you. I’ve scoured through the site before, and the only info I’ve seemed to garner from it suggests that if i’ve done a Cal Grant in the past, all I have to do is my Fafsa and the GPA Verification is done for me and therefore the Cal Grant is automatically applied.</p>
