<p>I'd love to hear from anyone with experience with CCM auditions, esp. re: audition scheduling. My S is a Commercial Music Production applicant. Back in November, he requested a Jan. 11 audition date. Well, it's Jan. 7, and we have heard nothing. N-o-t-h-i-n-g. </p>
<p>I was in touch with the department before Christmas. They said they hoped to have CMP auditions posted by Jan. 2. Nope. Nothing. </p>
<p>We have other east-of-the-Mississippi auditions this week, so we are flying cross-country on Wednesday, and could squeeze CCM in <em>IF</em> we hear from them! They're not answering their phones. </p>
<p>If they say, yes, we want to see him, but we're just not ready yet, come back on a different audition date.... well, I doubt I'll want to spend an additional $1200 to do so.</p>
<p>If it's a rejection, fine, we'll move on. My son already has one acceptance under his belt, and realistically speaking, it won't be his last. But it seems odd that a school can't post their audition schedule within a reasonable time frame, and that they're so unreachable. Is this typical for CCM? Anyone know?</p>
