We are getting old. I know we donât feel like we are, but we are. In the Bob Saget thread, a couple people figured it had to be drugs, because he was so young. No, he wasnât young. My mom died when she was 12 years older than I am, and she struggled with health issues for several years before she died. I certainly donât plan on going downhill within the next decade, but itâs a possibility. Itâs why my ducks are in a row & I live a happy life.

It has been widely reported in non MSM sources that death rates from non-covid related causes are up 40% in the US in those ages 18-64 This was originally noted by an insurance company CEO (OneAmerica) and can be seen through deep dive of CDCâs own data. I am having trouble loading link but you can find this through simple web search - DuckDuckGo often better for this type of info than google. These are unprecedented numbers and not just involving âolderâ folks.
I was just saying 2022 for comedians dying is the 2016 when musicians were dying. So far it has been a tough start to the year - Please 2022, give it a rest!

My grandmother died when she was one year YOUNGER than I am right now! And she hadnât dealt with a lot of health issues, just the average issues of someone born in 1902 and living until '66 (wars, shortages, pandemics, depression).
Iâm actually shocked by how many of my HS classmates have died. There were a few when we were in our 20s, then another group in our 40s, but many more have started dying of cancer since we are 55+

TMZ reports Meat Loaf struggled with a bad case of Covid before passing.
Interesting. He was very vocal about being anti vaxx and masks.
I love Meatloaf - but Iâm tired of that nonsense. I was in Florida - no one but me was masked. Yes, symptoms may be mild but it can be deadly. Schools around me all closing.
Wearing masks work.
Iâm sorry for his family they lost him and I hope it wasnât because of this.
We are not going to get past this until people start caring.
Everyone says the president has failed, etc. Wow, if no one is willing to help, of course he has.
No one is immune from this including celebs.

So what do you or these sources attribute the increase in deaths to?
Not a very compelling example, given that Colin Powell was 84 and immune compromised due to Multiple Myeloma.
Itâs very sad about Meat Loaf, but if he took a public antivax/anti-mask stance, itâs to be expected that this would become part of the conversation after his death from Covid.
