<p>I hear horror stories about T-Mobile reception in Boston; and on the Tufts campus in particular.</p>

<p>Sprint SUCKS. Do NOT get sprint on the Tufts campus.</p>
<p>I have T-Mobile and it works just fine, but my friends who have Verizon, complain that their reception is awful.</p>
<p>Gathering from these responses: I'd say go with Cingular. I've spent four wonderful years with it.</p>
<p>Sprint is fine, as long as you're OK with confining your phone calls to the roof of the libarary. My phone actually exploded on Sprint. Fortunately there were only some minor injuries amongst the bystanders.</p>
<p>Verizon is great pretty much anywhere around Boston.</p>
<p>I have Cingular and my reception is fantastic, especially in my dorm room (where I want it most). The only place on campus I don't get reception is in Aidekman.</p>

<p>My daughter has Verizon and has trouble getting reception in her dorm room which is pretty close to Aidekman. She has to sit next to her window in order to talk on the phone. Otherwise, Verizon is o.k. in the Boston area.</p>
