Cell phones

My mom said she would finally buy me a cell phone and I was wondering if you guys would recommend one.

I want a phone that I could use in Canada and call there for a cheap price from the US. The internet would be cool to have on it, too, but it's not necessary. Also, I'd only be using it for about 10 to 15 minutes a day. The rest of the time I could just use my house phone.

Thanks

I have a Sony Ericsson W330. It's a very a nice phone; it can play MP3s and the radio. It also comes with headphones. :D Generally, it has a lot of very nice features and a very user-friendly interface. I would definitely recommend it. As you can see, many other buyers agree with me [perfect rating on Amazon].

Bump .

NOKIA rules!

blackberry pearl

get something along the lines of the N series..they're practical, attractive, and not too expensive.

wait for the iPhone. mwahaha.

I'll take a look at all of those.

Thanks.

oh and never ever ever ever buy a samsung.

The Blackberry Pearl looks pretty cool. I could get two through Cingular for $100 and share a plan with my sister for $60/month.

Why shouldn't I buy a samsung, chriscap?

hah personal bad experiences. i don't think their products are very high quality.
