What is the best way to get a dorm with out a communal shower on central campus as a freshman?
Be in a MLC that is in a dorm w/o communal showers. Outside of that, you have no control
Also, communal showers are actually pretty clean, and it adds to the college experience.
What do you mean by “communal shower?” In the shared bathrooms, the showers are not communal. You have your own, private shower stall with an adjacent private dressing area. It’s not one big shower room with multiple shower heads and no privacy, like in a locker room.
The rec buildings locker rooms have communal showers. Dorms do not.
What brantly said is correct. Beyond that, I believe the only way to get a private bathroom would be if you were a part of the LGBT+ community in East Quad, since they have gender inclusive bathrooms.
