My paltry attempt at capturing your attention. If you clicked, it seems like I have it. :)

Anyway-

Is self-studying AP Econ (macro and micro) manageable? My AP Chem teacher said that students who have taken calculus (taken AB, taking BC next year) and advanced sciences like AP Chem or AP Physics (taken chem, taking physics next year) generally find econ pretty easy. True or complete BS? Also, I have a very strong background in accounting... I don't know if that will help at all. Do you think I should try to take an online course or study all on my lonesome? Is the course itself difficult? Suggestions?

Thanks!

It's not that bad. I'd say study it on your own. It's definitely do-able.

bump bumpity bump bump... bump bump!

Well, considering I did just that this year--self study Macro and Micro, I'd say it's do-able. Not fun, torturous even, but do-able. I'll let you guys know how I did when I get my scores in July.
I was the only in the room with the proctor for the whole day. It was weird.

I took both Calc BC and Macro this year...and I don't think any of the calculus I learned, or physics and chem that my friends had learned would have helped studying econ at all...it's a completely different course requiring different skills.
