CFA and some other questions

It should go without saying, but... Don't stop exercising after the CFA. Yes, you do need to do well on that in order to get accepted, however, your fitness when you arrive at the Academy for inprocessing is more important, in my opinion. In other words, take your scores from the CFA and challenge yourself to do progressively better in the coming months.

justanothermom- seems as though the means have gone up. I am also not positive on all my numbers.

They don't like to give minimums anymore, because people will shoot for those. Realistically, when you get here, the "minimum" is the mean scores.

You can still be told no for bad test scores, but they probably have to be pretty bad. Or they might just make you do it again. I'm not really sure of the process, so you'd have to get into the minds of some admissions folks.

Also, you don't need stellar scores. Mine were iffy honestly, I think my academics and leadership made up for it and that's why I didn't take it again:

bball - 54'

pull ups - 10

shuttle - 8.4

sit-ups - 74?

push-ups - 41

mile - 7:40

However, between working out before here, BCT, and work-out here, I'm above the standard now. So for those worried, there is plenty of room for improvement! I promise!

I was definitely below standard, but had good academics and leadership.

Please don't make the mistake of not constantly trying to improve, especially if you are below average...I did, and it's not fun to be on recondo.
