Cfa Flexed arm hang/pull up

Hi all
I’ve been working out many weeks doing weight training and I still struggle so hard with flexed arm hangs. The most I can get is 10 seconds. Every other CFA event I’m average or above on but this. Does anyone have tips or tricks to help me improve? I want to take my CFA in the next week or two while my medical history is being looked at.

There are fitness web sites with pages on how to improve your pullups and flexed arm hangs, though it may take more than a week or two to get significant improvement.
