Cfa

Okay, I missed that - then she did indeed max the pushups.

Good Luck - I hope the weather is good for you!

Our candidate packet says max for males on push-ups is 75. Mean is 60.

Ahh... I see. My bad.

Thanks, they are callin for chance of tstorms, but those guys are always wrong, so we will see what happens

Watch your mouth, my dad is pretty much one of those guys. Actually, he does the sports... but he works with one of those guys.

But we're also supposed to get rain.

huh? if he does the sports then hes not on the weather channel....?

he probably works for a NEWS coverage channel that covers weather and sports...

I didn't know you were specifically talking about the Weather Channel, ha. He's a sports anchor at the local tv station.

Yeah, local news/weather is usually good. The Weather Channel is terrible. There is nothing wrong with newscasters, just some weathermen......anyway back on topic, my CFA is on Thursday, not Wednesday. I would be sore tomorrow from roller hockey cause I have practice tonight

Lol

Yeah, I'm a girl. Guess that does make a difference, huh? :)
Thanks MomOf4! & good luck flyersboy!

Now if the AF could make a flightsuit to fit a woman they would prove that they understand there is a difference in genders ;)

Just did mine today... Did not get what I was hoping for.

Basketball: 72
Pull-Ups: 14
Sit-Ups: 80
Push-Ups: 60
Shuttle: 8.6
Mile: 6:52

That's what not running for a few weeks will do to you. A week ago I could max the pushups and situps... this angers me.

nah dont be, they're all average or above. you're good to go

You got excellent scores...be happy!

those scores are real good.

Wow those are great dude, Im hoping I do as good on thursday

Well I just did my first practice CFA and I think disappointed would be an understatment to what I am going through.
B-ball Throw : 76 feet
Pull Ups: 12
Shuttle Run: 9.1
Sit Ups: 86
Push Ups: 35 :( :( :( :(
Mile Run: 7:00

I really dont know what happened. I am doing cross country and I can easily run sub 6:30 miles. I have no clue what happened. I dont even want to get started on Push ups. Then the shuttle run i did on a track, I decided I will do the real one on a gym floor. Today was a half day at school, and so my lunch period was 9:30 in the morning. By the time 3:00 rolled around I was starving, so I will not make that mistake again.

Your CFA is fine. work on the push-ups and your ok.

I know, there is just something about pushups that I cannot get around. I am pretty strong, I just cannot do a lot of pushups.

Don't worry about that mile time too much. My ALO specifically said that it won't be your best time. You've maxed yourself out in all the other events, and you body is physically tired.
