<p>Due to my SAT I think it's a reach but everything else is very good. I have taken the hardest course load my High school offers (IB) and have excelled grade wise. Great teacher recs. Lots of meanigfull community service which love!! Thanks!!</p>

<p>Glad you’re interested in W&M. Certainly W&M appreciates the effort students exert when completing the IB Diploma and we do view successful completion of those courses very highly. You’ve also established leadership in some of your extracurricular activities which W&M appreciates and can help distinguish you in the applicant pool.</p>

<p>The general profile for an admitted student: 80% graduate in the top 10% of their high school class (though we do take the competitiveness of your high school into account), middle 50% for SAT is 1280-1430 (out-of-state students tend to be on the upper end of that range). These are just profile data, not minimum requirements. We admit 27% of the out-of-state students who apply give or take so we are selective. But because we have a holistic process, every student stands a chance regardless of an SAT or GPA. </p>
