Bumpppppp!

What’s your GPA? Weighted/unweighted.

SAT is a little low, try retaking if you can

Bumping again because of reasons

No one can chance you without rank/GPA and knowing what school at Cornell.

I’d be applying to arts and sciences. My school does not rank, and my GPA is a 4.4. I don’t know how i forgot to write that!!

Do math II instead. It’s pretty easy and looks better

I think your GPA is outstanding, just try to get 5s on your AP exams and 700 or more on SAT IIs. Your SAT is a bit low though. Cornell is a mid-reach!

GPA is great. I would say get your ACT score to a 34 or 35. And make sure that you have something outstnding about you that is different from everyone else. Like write a book or something

@IvyProdigy – I’ll take a look at the review book and see if I think I can do well :)

@aeisrael – Thanks so much! I’m definitely trying. I took the SAT again today.

@SoupSong – Well… I’m the NYC Bid Leader for the Quidditch World Cup 2013. If NYC gets the bid, I’ll be planning an event that will host thousands of people. Is that sufficient? :D

Eh. Maybe a 10-15% chance.

My school also has a consistent rate of at least 10 kids accepted per grade per year.

Do you have an estimated percentile of your rank? Schools that don’t rank usually provide the class percentile (top 5, 10, 20% etc)

But looking at what you have, chances look decent, higher if applying early decision but your test scores (including the 33 ) can be better and what you think of your essays don’t matter (you may love it but the person reading it may not).

good luck to you on ap exams next week. make sure you get 4s or 5s and maybe get your test scores a little higher. are you applying to cornell ed?

I’m definitely top 7-10% of mu grade. I’d be applying ED, so I may take one more ACT in the fall to push for that 34.

I got my ACT up three points from december to april. push for a 36!

Bump, just because.

gg

make sure u do not position yourself in sports since Cornell probably doesn’t care about that, UNLESS, u took state or it reaaaally showcases your dedication.

write good essays or u are doomed.

remember to stay BBbbbrisky and Kool.
