Summers:
Freshman year to sophomore:
Dartmouth Debate Institute
Northwestern's CTD (Chemistry)

Sophomore to junior:
Summer school requirements like gym and info/tech class
Did some volunteering for the Spanish community. I do a lot of volunteering and coordinating for the Spanish Honor Society.

Junior to senior:
Plan on Stanford Summer Session classes (Chem, Psychology, Orchestra, Anthropology, Computer Programming - I'm still deciding which of these to take) and possibly an internship with the psychology department at Stanford if possible. Otherwise I'll try to intern at Berkeley, even if it means dropping the Summer Session.

Rec's should be really good (my counselor really likes me, and I'm probably interning with him for my business credits. I also did extremely well in the classes I'm getting recs from, and I'm remembered as the only sophomore in his class to take AP Chem+had him two years.). Essays should be good. Will be in NHS by the end of this year

My sister went to Stanford, so I have some sort of legacy/connection to Stanford.
My parents are both from China, and my mom never received a high school education. My dad got his masters from UW-Milwaukee)

Financial aid:
Most definitely would need financial aid (after taxes <70,000/60,000)

Wow! Looks great! I am certain you will get into the majority of your schools! Just rock those SAT Subject Tests and APs.

Please chance me:)

DON’T TAKE THE SAT I!!!

You’re ACT scores are already extremely high and it would be nonsense to take the SAT unless you can get at least a 2300. I think that you would be wasting your time and I promise you 100% sure that schools won’t see any different with just your ACT scores along with some SAT II subject tests.

This is exactly what I’m doing because my PSAT scores were crap to say the least whereas my ACT diagnostic scores were much higher percentile wise (say, 15% higher, lol). That’s my best advice for you.
