thanks a bunch and of course I will chance back in a timely fashion. :D

I’d chance you, but I know nothing of those schools. Not from around there :frowning: But your electives look really well and volunteer work.

All I know is you have a good chance for Wisconsin. not sure about the others

1) UW-Madison- low reach
2) U of M-Twin Cities- safety/low reach( i know someone who got into the college of biological sciences here with a 29)
3) Iowa State University- in
4) St.John’s Univerity (in MN …legacy)- in
5) St.Olaf college- reach
6) Careleton (farthest reach ever)- have to agree, it’s a reach
7)St.Thomas University- in
8) Drake (iowa)- don’t know

“i know someone who got into the college of biological sciences here with a 29”

My sister got in with a 27 last year.

bump…

Like many of the others in this thread, I don’t know much of these schools, but I’ll throw in my two cents.

I would say that although your stats are a bit low, your ECs look great.
My advice at this point would be to retake the ACT or SAT and try to get a higher score, and I’d say your in good position

bump…

This is the first time I’ve ever heard Tri-Racial before… cool, cool, lol.

I live right in Des Moines, Iowa, and I know for sure you’ll get into Iowa State and Drake (you’ll love Drake, by the way. I know several students there and they say it’s a blast–especially during Drake Relays). Your stats look like the stats of most of the people I know who got accepted. I think you’ll get into U of M too.

also my ACT that Ill be reporting has changed slightly, still a 29 composite, but instead of an 11 writing its a 12.

Do you have a weighted GPA? Is that it or is the 3.4 unweighted?

You have good ECs and work experiance, and your stats are also pretty good.

1) UW-Madison-Match
2) U of M-Twin Cities-In
3) Iowa State University-Safety
4) St.John’s Univerity (in MN …legacy)-Can’t say
5) St.Olaf college-slight reach
6) Careleton (farthest reach ever)-cant say
7)St.Thomas University-cant say
8) Drake (iowa)-safety

thank you lenda2533 for the chance. my GPA is my unweighted, my weighted and unweighted really arent all that different due to honros classes notbeing weighted at my school, but APS are by GPA(1.2) so maybe a .02 difference.

UW-reach
UofM-in
Iowa state-low match/in
St Johns-idk
st olaf-match
carleton-idk
st thomas-idk
drake-in

hope this was helpful

I don’t know much about the other schools, but I’d say you’re pretty safe for Wisconsin, Iowa State, and Drake.
