<p>Actually, given your F’s (and to be honest, that reason isn’t going to be too persuasive with most admissions counselors) all of those are up in the air, especially with C’s and D’s. I’m an Ohio resident, so your best shot would be applying to OSU and maybe going to a satellite campus for your first year and then switching to the Columbus campus. For a state school, OSU is ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL.</p>

<p>In your case, interviews at those schools would be VERY HELPFUL, along with a separate essay of explanation.</p>
