You definitely standout and the diversity you will bring to a campus will help your chances. Your standardized testing scores are pretty good and your extracurriculars are decent. I would explain your situation in your essay. I think you have a good chance!

You have very, very solid scores and have a good chance of getting into any of those schools. The story behind it is very unique and likely to spart interest in admissions.

I think your unique situation helps a lot. The only concern I have is that you are going to need aid correct? I am not sure if this is a blanket for all schools but a lot of them look at financial situations when admitting international students. It is much harder to get in if you are an international looking for money. Other than that though I think you are in great shape!

You are right stownman21, i need a full scholarship. A couple of the schools i listed are need-blind for internationals, the rest are not ,but they do give need-based financial aid to a few foreign students, i’m hoping to be one of those.
Here is my dilemma there are 6 schools that are need-blind for internationals: Harvard, Yale, Princeton, MIT, Amherst and Dartmouth, admission to these schools is extremely competitive and i would probably be rejected to all of them, and there are other really nice schools (WUSTL, Rice) that are a bit easier to get into but i need to be a higher than average applicant if i want the full aid package, so anyway my chances are really small :/.
Thanks for chancing me.

Although I am very unqualified to speak on the subject, (still in high school) based upon your excellent scores and Gpa, and your very unique background, I do believe that you have great chances for acceptance at any university you apply to. As others have said, I would definitely stress your unique background in your essays. In conclusion, best of Luck!

I agree with what many other people are saying. Think your gpa, test scores, and unique story will benefit you greatly. You will probably get great financial aid. Good luck!!

Hey, thanks for chancing me!
Your stats and background give you a really good shot, though many of the schools on your list are reaches for everybody who applies.
What are you looking for in a school? (major/location/size, etc). That would help us suggest good match/safety schools (:
