<p>I don’t get why people say Hispanic=In everywhere. Having a dad from Spain I don’t think will count for much. Spain is not exactly third world - it’s a wealthy European country. Does your background somehow mean that you are from a group of people who are historically under-represented? Doesn’t sound like it, Senor Small Fancy Private School.</p>
<p>I think you need to work on your presentation of your background.</p>
<p>He’s technically from Uruguay. I say Spanish because I consider myself Spanish, his parents are from Spain, and he considers himself Spanish. So I guess I would put Uruguay. Also: the idea of Hispanic is completely false, it is not a race or ethnicity, but if colleges think it is i accept that.</p>
