Chance a international sophomore with weird stats...

Okay, I’ll apply to Brown…But for the question, firstly, I really really like neuroscience and decided on the major with very careful thinking(I’d write a why essay, definitely). Secondly, I’m not bad at science or anything like that. Thirdly, it’s hard to do any ecs related to science in china unless you invent a gimmick or something. There are no internships, no competitions, no programmes, (there’s only one university in my city). And, my ecs just kinda of snowballed since I started them at age 7, but it’s not like I can predict what I’d do for the furture at age 7. AND, it’s not like because I have decided to major in neuroscience I’m going to give up everything in my life and sit in my house to think of a gimmick to invent…I do love all my ecs and my intended major. But, this is just the way things have turned out. It’s basically either this, or no ecs. I’d have slightly more oppotunities in Beijing, in an elite hs maybe, but then again, I can do with a Nobel Prize and maybe a Grammy too. :-P
