I will be applying to the Resident Honors Program, which is a process exclusively for juniors that allows them to be considered in a separate pool comprised of juniors only. Juniors accepted will matriculate as a normal freshman to USC.

Information is here if you are interested too: usc.edu/rhp

Asian-american junior from a good high school in the Northeast.

Academics:
I have a 3.3 unweighted GPA and am in the first decile/top 10%. Had a pretty bad freshman year. Sophomore year was a solid A average, so you can guess how bad my freshman GPA was... I had a hard time transitioning.
School does not weight or rank.

Hard freshman year (max honors possible), medium sophomore year, most rigorous possible junior year (all APs/Honors).

Sophomore year PSAT: 210
Junior year: ?

Will take the SAT on December 12th (latest test date allowed for application). I'm hoping I can score somewhere in the 2200 range at minimum... hopefully a 100 point increase from my PSAT isn't that difficult. Practice essays by various SAT counselors have consistently churned out 12s so I hope I won't be blindsided by the essay.

SAT II Biology: 720

ECs:
Varsity debate, Yearbook editor, Varsity science team for 3 years.
Ice Skating for three seasons, JV Volleyball for one season.

Multiple awards in all extracurriculars and then some from other competitions in business. No national recognizations, just a couple state and regional ones.

Entering the Intel Science Talent Search. Wish me luck! :).

Other:
Two documented learning disabilities, but I don't it's affected me that much, I feel like I'm a normal kid. The only thing that sets me apart is that I apparently have to work harder to focus than others and study more because I have more information retention, but I have denied special assistance because I prefer independence and self-study.

Teacher recommendations will be decent, but probably not one-of-a-kind (from my AP Science and AP English teachers, both classes in which I have an A)

I will not need financial aid.

If accepted, I will attend USC at the age of 15. I have no idea what kind of impact this has on me, but I imagine it wouldn't be so great since I can't legally drive and it probably doesn't show "maturity."

There is no essay or interview for application under RHP*
(Interview is only if you live in the metra area, but since I live 3,000 miles across the country, it's not really feasible...)
