Sorry for being vague. Please chance me and give your honest opinion. Thank You!

you look on track for all your schools. quite impressive.

Forgot to mention: Microsoft Office Certified in Excel and Word (not sure if it’ll make a difference) and I organize Model UN Conferences

bumppppppppppppppp

UCB low reach
For the Ivy Leagues, I’d also say low reach to reach. I mean they are basically reaches for everyone, but you have very good chances

“Economics Club- President (11)
Model UN- Security Council (11)

Seems off to me in general that you’ve started all these clubs this year, and already hold leadership positions within them. I think an admissions officer might interpret that as resume padding, being that you suddenly joined a bunch of new clubs and ran for office. That, or it could simply imply that these clubs aren’t taken very seriously at your school if you can join and become president almost immediately, and it becomes less impressive. In fact, considering the larger scope of all your EC’s and you holding leadership in almost all of them, that leads me to believe that they most of those are minimal commitments and basically roles that require little to no effort (how could you possibly be a really involved executive in 6+ clubs on top of everything else?). However, I might be wrong, perhaps the person reading your file is impressed; just my two cents. It’s also important, I think, that all of your EC’s are in the same category largely. Most are business/economic related. While you definitely look focused, some schools might be looking for someone more well-rounded (and you might be, I just don’t get that vibe from your resume).

As for your schools, you’re definitely qualified so I’d probably say high match/low reach for NYU, UMich and the others would all be reaches. It’s just impossible to predict, but I wouldn’t be surprised if you were admitted. Test scores are high and lots of rigor, but it will hurt that you’re Asian most likely and it may hurt that your EC’s aren’t varied (again, speculation on my part).

Just thought I should mention, you don’t really seem like someone who fit in at Brown. I’m not sure why you’ve chosen to apply but I would recommend a visit, it’s definitely not like Wharton and Dartmouth.

@novafan1225 They weren’t started this year, my school system has a high school and a senior high and those clubs were’t offered.

I can’t really chance you cuz I can’t understand your grades, but your score is impressive and has a great breakdown. I think it is ok to show focus in one area as long as you talk about a hobby or another activity in your essay, you want to come across as someone who likes to learn but have fun at the same time. Based on your activities i think you are doing a good job, hopefully you have time for hobbies  .

Your SAT score is impressive but that’s about it. Weak courseload, all generic clubs and awards (although NMF would look good) and almost no volunteering at all. If they’re looking for rounded students at all you’re not it and like @novafan1225‌ said it looks like you decided to start padding up your resume mid junior year;however, lots of the time they want the numbers and your GPA and SAT scores are good, and even though I’m not an expert on all of these schools, I’ll go ahead and do it.

It looks like I’m getting some conflicting information. and @reddr0p how is my courseload weak?

I don’t think your courseload is weak; you’re taking physics C and have taken Calc BC, widely regarded as two of the hardest classes offered in high school. Your GPA/SAT/ACT are almost perfect and you seem very focused towards Business/Economics. I understand the whole senior high school situation, my school district works the same way. Having officer positions in your junior year at these schools is great as well. Try to expand your volunteering, take some more subject tests (only two are required, but try to take more to show proficiency outside of just the classwork). Just make sure your essays really display your character and how you are as a person, and make your interview great, you do a lot of public speaking through BPA (or DECA, if you’ve explored that option), so express your interest in that as well!
Wharton is still a reach no matter what, but you have a good chance at that college, everything else I would say is around low reach level. Just remember, not all the best applicants get accepted!

Wow that’s pretty impressive. Although it looks like you’ve worked really hard for your grades, it looks a little bit like resume padding, as mentioned above. You should consider some community service.

You should also check out your unweighted GPA because that’s what really counts in a lot of colleges.

Best of luck! I’m sure you’ll get into a good college.

American: yea
Penn- Wharton: high reach
Dartmouth: reach
Cornell- AEM: low reach - depending on your essays/what type of person you come off as
Brown: low reach - same idea as cornell
NYU- Stern: low-reach/match
Columbia: reach
UCB- Hass: reach
UMich- Ross: match

Good GPA and scores, which will get you into NYU and Mich, but it looks like you did most of your leadership this year looking like you are just padding…interestingly, if you are going into business/econ, if the majority of your resume looks businessy (esp. with little volunteering), it looks weaker. Wharton, for example, isn’t looking for the next investment banker, they are looking for the next CEO or political leader

I think you have great chances for all of the schools you mentioned. I think you’re definitely getting into Cornell to say the least.
