<p>I'm a white female from a mediocre public school in Tennessee. Vandy is my dream school, and I'll probably apply EDI or EDII. Here are my stats!</p>

Rank: 4/287
ACT: 30 composite (first time taking it, didn't study. not stopping until I get at least a 32 haha)
11 honors classes by graduation, 3 APs (oops), 2 dual enrollment.
Nursing or Pre-Med major, haven't decided.</p>

<p>Oh, and I forgot to mention that I’ll have worked at a frozen yogurt place for two years by graduation.</p>

<p>get the red book of Real ACTs and do them in at timed setting at home. I suggest doing the first one “open book” and study the correct answers thoroughly before the timed exams. Honestly…people who don’t have a rhythm for the test established can be disadvantaged. The ACT is more of a comprehension exam than the SAT and it requires stamina. Prepare. Aim for a 36 and see what happens. Also my son did really well on the ACT but didn’t take the writing sample. Then he had to turn in his SAT as well everywere with writing. So…perhaps you should not make that mistake although you prob already thought of this.</p>

<p>Quick note, Vandy doesn’t have undergrad nursing… I think. You will want to check if you intend to consider nursing.</p>
