Does Penn look at my quarter grades or is there any possible way to send them? Since I have a 4.0 this year, it’ll hopefully show I’m still serious about my studies.

As for OP, I’m assuming you’ve had it out with other people in other threads based on what went down in there, but that’s neither here nor there. If your experience with band has had a positive influence on you, then you can probably come up with a pretty strong essay about it. The upward trend in your grades is good. Even if your first year was kind of rocky, improvement is always important. Everyone is aware that freshman year of high school is an adjustment for some people, and consistent improvement is a more telling indicator of potential than first-year grades as a 14 or 15 year old.
