Subjective:
Essays focused on my ambition to possibly combine my passion in music with a career in business, and how I would share that passion with the UPenn/Philly community.
Conselor recc. should be amazing she seems to love my drive.
Teacher reccomendations should also be good, they both know well as a person, rather than just as a student.
1. Taught me from 10th-12th grade (Trig Honors, Calc, AP Calc)
2. Music Theory Teacher (10-12) loves me!

Hooks/Anti-Hooks : Central PA, not going up against all the philly legacies
Strong Background in music, not all academics
Leadership
School never sends to Ivy (is this a hook?)
Anti: everyone keeps telling me Im crazy, but I dont love my SAT score.. Possibly takin it over in January and rushing the score.

I will apply to The College as undecided =)
Thanks so much! Leave a link and Ill chance ya back!

Your essay is about combining a career in business with music yet you are applying to the College?

Don’t get me wrong, I’m in the College and I love it, but don’t make your app reader look at what school you are applying to twice because he/she might be confused.

Best of luck!

SATs need a little work as far as I can tell, otherwise good luck and I’ll hope to hear some clarinet on campus next year.

Overall I would advise you to bet on attending somewhere else and hope for the best in April. Your chances are low (10-20% max), but you do have a shot.
