Appreciate any comments that anyone has to make. I will gladly chance back if you post the link to your thread.

Could anyone recommend some schools that would be good safeties and other schools that match? Anyone heard of scholarships (full-rides for NMF? Would I qualify for any?

I think you have a good chance at:
U of Rochester, Lehigh, Trinity, Haverford, Bucknell

However, it is hard to say because you do not have SAT IIs yet. For pre med you might want to have chem as well (even if just to make you study the material). Your ECs are decent, but I’d rather have seen some more. They are just… few. However, the contrast between music and science is interesting, you will benefit from exploring your science interest.

Emory and Carnegie should be your only issues. That being said, work on Sat IIs, especially math/ and or science ones to make sure you are up to par. Its tough to be an Asian applicant in a pool of science hopefuls.

You seem to be good on all except Emory, Lehigh, Villanova, and CMU. You have a list of some pretty good schools. You can possibly get into the ones listed above, but it will be harder.

i think your EC could use a little work. Try to get to a leadership position or on a team that won a state champion ship or something. If u can, retake the SAT to get a higher score. Otherwise looks good.
I think u have a shot at NYU and USC if u ED/EA
go Chance a student at a private high school.

your GPA and SAT score are average, with your GPA being a bit on the low side…your ECs are solid, but they dont really jump off the page. the PSAT score is very good- you’ll probably qualify for national merit semifinalist, if not finalist - which is another thing that you’ll be able to state on your app. if you get that SAT score up, your chances will improve dramatically imo

NYU - low reach
USC - not sure
U of Rochester - not sure
