Chance a NY'er at ROSS!

0123456, if you don’t believe Wharton is #4, then why did you quote BW?

I know three students who applied to Ross this year. All three had 2300+ SATs and 4.0 GPAs. All three applied in October. All three were rejected. Even in the early period, Ross will only admit the very best. They may not be the very best students, but something in their application must stand out. Ross will only admit 200-250 students, so they will be sure to make each acceptance count.

As for Ross’ reputation, as recharge points out, it is about right. McKinsey lists Ross as one of its 10 or so most strategic programs, both for undergrads and graduate students. Same goes for several other major companies. Ross is not #1, but it is definitely one of the top 5 BBA programs.

I think you will get into UMICH, just not sure about pre-admit to Ross which means you might have to take a year of the basics and go into Ross the next year if you have a high Mich GPA

Interesting. You are the first person I know pre-admitted to Ross before January. So how early did you apply? And when were you admitted to Michigan (LSA or Engineering)? … I presume that’s still a two-step process, or did they change it too?

How can you anticipate your grades for senior year…

I know about five people that were admitted that early as well. I applied mid September. My application materials were in very soon, while my teacher recommendations were in by September 28th. I was admitted to LSA on October 22nd and Ross either a day before or a day after Thanksgiving.

Thanks for replying so soon. It’s good info and it’s good to know that they have improved the process.
