Bump…

Everything about this thread is simply fantastic. Great scores, GPA, ECs, enough prizes. And on top that your are a URM who has only lived in the US for 5 years. I think you would be a very strong canidate for Harvard or anyother Ivy League School. Here is just a piece of advice: be confident. Your an amazing student, with tons of potential that would flourish at school like Harvard. Remember that. GOOD LUCK!

You are really nice. Thanks :)

I am not a college veteran, but I think you have a excellent shot at Harvard(or really any school for that matter), you will definitely stand out in the admissions. Good luck and I hope you get accepted.

Thanks  Good luck too. Hopefully you’ll get accepted to GaTech!!

If you can get a 2300 on the SAT, your RANK, URM, and SAT IIs will give you a fantastic advantage. I think you have a great shot, though, Harvard is incredible unpredictable.

A 2300 would help your chances, but honestly, just the fact that your a URM increases your chances by 2 times at least. Colleges want to diversify. A URM helps them do so. Best of luck to you. You not a shew in, no one is, but you without a doubt have as good of a shot as anyone.

Thought I’d add that on a more negative side, you don’t have any standout ECs which could hurt you (not sure how much, though).

Where are you from?

Peru (10 char)

I live in Port Charlotte, FL now though :)

Reasonable shot, especially if you get the 2250.

I got a 2200…but superscored it came out to 2270 :D…retaking it in october to get a higher reading score and go up to 2350 hopefully

You will have to do an interview. Jsyk. They aren’t very high-pressure even though they’re important to your evaluation.

Mine was…weird…they told me Jack Kerouac wrote Catch-22…that was strange…

But you look like you have a pretty good chance :)

OMggg you qualified for USAMO? I’m jealous ): but you have a good shot… Any hispanic girl that qualifies for USAMO has a shot into MIT.

Your essay and urm will really help you and help in covering your low gpa can you chance me
