Chance a soon to be Jr please...

Hi Im about to enter my Jr. year and I need advice for the future -- My school only offers AP's for 11 + 12 so I can start taking them this year. From 6-9th grades I missed a lot of school due to a medical condition which is resolved and no longer an issue. But because of it my grades suffered. Although as of my sophomore year, I have been getting straight A's. I haven't taken the SAT I but I am projecting hopefully around a 2200 based on my PSAT's that i took during my soph year.
Have Legacies at Princeton and Amherst...

I plan on taking 3 SAT II's by end of Jr. year.
My NY Regents grades have been:
Earth Sci: 95
Bio: 93
Math A: 92
French 1 98
Math B: 93
Global Regents: 96
Chem regents : 95

9th Grade
French 2- B
Biology- B+
English 9- A-
Global I- B+
Math A/B- B
Art 1A - A+

10th Grade

Global II: A
French 3: A-
English 10: A+
Math B: A-
Health: A+
Art 1B: A+

Next year I am taking

AP English Language
French 4 honors

Creative Writing

And in 12th I plan on taking
AP Chem
AP English Lit
AP US Gov
Physics Honors
Calculus AB
French 5 Honors

EC's (kinda weak): Volunteered for 3 years at a preschool camp
Summer Internship in a Recording Studio
Academic Challenge Team, Key Club, Film Club VP, Volunteer Ambulance Corps EMT, Volunteered at a local Hospital this year and next year as well. Varsity Golf Team (Jr year and Sr. year) National Honor Society

My essay will be amazing focusing on how my illness was what made me want to get into medicine and how after I got better I saw what i could do...
I am not sure where it is I would like to attend, partially because I havent started looking, but when I do choose a huge plus to me would be a strong Science/PreMed program. Currently I decided I would just be looking at my chances at : Princeton, Duke, Brown, JHU,Tufts,Cornell, Northwestern, University of Penn, UC Berkley if my grades continue on same track they are on
Also anyone who knows of any schools with good Pre-Med/Science Programs that I didn't list and would be kind enough to list them I would be extremely grateful.
any advice is appreciated

Thanks again

bump... anyone?

what was your psat score?

Without some kind of score it's hard to say (and it is a bit early), but assuming you get a competitive SAT score and continue working on your EC's, you should have a good shot at the schools you mention. A 2200 should make you competitive, even more if you get it up a bit.

You have an upward trend in grades from 9th to 10th, and if you keep on that level you should be OK grade-wise.

Good luck.

The main reason from 9th to 10th was that going into 9th i was plagued by a medical condition that through a variety of treatments went away to a point where I was able to concentrate on school work and other such things

Too early to tell. Much happens in junior year -- events, accomplishments, awards, honors, etc. -- so any 'chances' now will be inaccurate for when you apply. However, I'd say you're on the right track.

thanks for all the input all

yeah, post another thread when you finish your first semester of junior year or take the sat. but so far you are doing great.
