Stats are in line, but there were a lot of surprises this year along with a record number of applications. The trend is likely to continue at UF and FSU, so stats that seem great this year may not be as impressive in 2 years. Make sure you’re taking a challenging course load your last 2 years.
Yes, load up on AP, Honors, AICE, IB - whatever your school offers and I would include electives in that. Senior year should be still intensive. The presidential campaign is awesome so I take it that will go to 200+ hours of volunteering? This may convey a passion - which is important to show. I see consistency with your clubs. The UF GPA will only count your grades for English, Math, Social Studies, Language, Science. That will be your UF GPA. Your GPA is essentially done by Junior year as that is the last set of grades you submit with your application. So, this semester and Jr. year - blow it out!
