chance a student with pretty bad grades but kinda decent ecs?

Hi,

This isn't really a chance, it's more of a 'where the heck do I fit?' kind of thing.

My grades were alright Freshman year; my average was an 85.3. My grades plummeted Sophomore year; my average was a 76. This year, as a Junior, my average so far is a 91.3.

I took AP European History last year, and this year I'm taking AP US History. These are the only two AP classes offered to Sophomores/Juniors at my school, but next year, I plan to take AP English, AP French and Honors Political Philosophy.

I haven't taken the SAT yet, but on the PSAT, I got a 1910. On practice tests, my lowest was 1790 and my highest was a 2020.

I don't know if it's relevant, but I'm Moroccan, I speak fluent Arabic and I was adopted.

I'm Vice President of my school's Diversity Club. I'm a member of Key Club, International Club and the Volleyball, Tennis and Softball teams. I've volunteered at a nursing home for two years and I had a year long internship at a museum in NYC (Noguchi Museum). I also won second place in the 2008 Cityparks Tennis Tournament.

My best asset would probably be my writing. I was a Merit Award and an Honorable Mention winner in the 2013 Young Arts Competition. I was a finalist in the Norman Mailer Fiction Award. I was 3rd in the Sierra Nevada Writing Contest. Overall, I've won 28 awards from the Scholastics Art and Writing Competition. I was also a finalist in the Virginia B Ball Writing Competition.

I want to major in Creative Writing, but I don't know what schools have good programs, and whether I'd be a good fit for them. Any help would be appreciated!

bump bummp

Financial constraints, geography and size of school, type of environment, public/private?

There are hundreds of schools that are possibilities.
