Hello --

I'm currently a junior in high school and I want to know what my chances are of getting into a "good" school. This year has been especially rough for me and, as a result, my grades have slipped. I received my first C this school year (first semester of AP US History) -- though final grades are not in yet. I will most likely end with two Bs (in Honors Pre-Cal and AP US History) and 3 As. I have an unweighted GPA of a 3.636 (I have only ever taken Honors/AP classes) and got a PSAT score of 218. I will be taking the actual SAT in May. I should note, also, that I skipped two grades prior to entering high school as a Sophomore, meaning I will graduate at 16. I do not know how this plays into college admissions, and would also like to know what that means for my chances. As for ECs, I have an executive internship at a museum, participated in Journalism club last year, and completed extensive community service at the ASPCA. I am an aspiring writer -- and am planning to major in English. My dream school is Columbia University, however I know that that is far out of my reach. That being said, I'm looking into colleges that fit my interests in Creative Writing that are located in my home state of Florida.

Thank you for the help in advance.
