I'm currently a freshman at a top 15 Liberal Arts college majoring in International Relations or Political Science. Counting my mid-semester grades I have a 3.4 GPA. I was selected to represent my school at a really prestigious international conference over spring break, I'm in Model UN and I have a job on campus as a waitress.
In high school I graduated with a 4.1 GPA, with honors. I received several faculty awards, had leadership roles in several organizations such as Model United Nations (I was the President for 2 years) and theater, and was in 3 honor societies (National, French, and Theater). I also received the full IB Diploma.
My essays are strong, and I have a strong recommendation letter from the professor I had for my freshman seminar and the Dean who filled out my School Report really likes me. I also have a glowing letter from the high school teacher who was the head of Model United Nations and knows me very well.
I applied to Barnard, Georgetown School of Foreign Service, George Washington's Elliot School of International Affairs, and Tufts.
So do I have a shot at any of these schools?
Thanks!!
