chance a white, male, very worried student.

hello! my name is colin, and i'm a junior at a competitive high school in saratoga springs, new york. i've been worried about colleges lately because my grades aren't as pristine as i'd like them to be, and my high school doesn't weigh ranking. well, here i go:

freshman year:
english 9: 97
global history 9: 95
french 2: 99
honours geometry: 89
university design & drawing for production: 98
accelerated latin I and II: 93
earth science: 94

sophomore year:
honours english 10: 98
honours global history 10: 100
honours trigonometry: 89
biology: 98
university digital electronics: 97
latin III: 97
french 3: 99

junior year (the second half of the year is projected based on current grades):
ap physics b: 93
ap us history: 94
honours english 11: 96
pre-calculus: 94
chemistry: 97
university latin IV: 96

doubling up on sciences this year is a challenge because science classes take up almost double the time of regular classes, hence why i have one less class than usual. i was simply unable to take another. also, due to ap physics, my schedule did not permit me to take pre-calculus honours. do colleges care about either of these?

i've taken almost all possible honours courses, and am currently taking all possible ap courses. i'm not entirely sure what my gpa is, due to the fact that my school only released numerical grades and i am not sure how my school weighs them. on one of those simple "gpa calculator" websites i got 4.145, but once again, i'm not sure.

since my school is competitive and unweighted, i believe i'm just at the top 10% mark, out of nearly 600 students.

senior schedule:
ap english literature
ap biology
ap microeconomics
ap calculus ab
university latin V
half-year internship at a nearby private college.
half-year war and diplomacy course.

for my final course, i'm taking an ap, but i cannot decide between ap computer science and ap world history. which would you all suggest?

extra curriculars:
varsity swimming
drama club
national honor society
national thespian honor society
founder and president of russian club
creative streak (arts and literature magazine)
will have had plays performed that i wrote myself.
yearbook
frisbee club
film club
100+ hours of community service
published and sold artist
various academic awards
target employee

i am currently working on a few websites and trying to write a novel. if i get the novel published and the websites are successful, should i include these things in the application?

test scores:
i've taken three subject sat tests, but i got 650-700 on all of them, so i don't want to send them.
psats: 210 (mentioned)
sats (just taken, projected): reading: 740-760, math: 780-800, writing: 760-780.
future sat IIs: physics (probable 800), us history (probable 780), latin (probable 780).

collegiate interests:
dual major in russian language and history, and anthropology. possible theater or classics interest.

uc: berkeley (never getting into because i'm an out-of-state applicant)
university of chicago (reach, top choice)
university of wisconsin: madison
massachusetts institute of technology (way reach, applying as an anthro student)
williams college
vassar college
college of william & mary
mcgill university

so, how bad is it? i know, my grades aren't perfect and i haven't done any majorly significant achievement such as cancer research, but i can't help but to try. my ECs are certainly widespread, i'm entering works for many literary competitions, and my test scores are/will be guaranteed excellent. i'm a fantastic essay writer as well. does my russian major put me over the edge at all? i know many schools have very small russian departments, does that mean they're looking for more? i'll be in contact at local private colleges about partaking in research assistance in anthropology departments, and i'm applying at summer programs at uchicago and other universities. i just need to know: what can i do to stand out? i want to go to these colleges more than anything.
