I have be homeschooled all through highschool. I will not need financial aid. I am in-state for all. Legacy for both NC State, UNC (2 generations), and ECU.

Chance me for: UNC-CH, NC State, Appalachian State, UNC Charlotte, UNC Greensboro, UNC Wilmington, East Carolina.

.:bump:. :)

Hey, I would say you’re good for everything except maybe UNC-CH and NC State, the former will be a reach while the latter will be between a match and a reach. However, your legacy status will really help- if you’re legacy at UNC-CH, I might knock it down from being a reach. A friend of mine who applied to UVA had similar grades and less impressive ECs, as well as a 1780 on the SAT, and got rejected from all of her schools (equal or lesser in UVA’s reputation) except for UVA because her parents had gone there. So it is definitely a helpful factor. Also your close relationship with their equestrian team gives you another boost. I would say that ECU and App State would be safeties for you, while the other UNCs would be matches. I would retake the ACT or SAT and definitely another few SAT IIs… Good luck!

Does NC have the deal like VA where you can graduate from a cc and attend any 4-year state school? I’d say you’re well on your way to earning your associates with all those dual credit hours.

Will you get LORs from your cc teachers? That will go a long way toward strengthening your application.

Yep one of my LoR’s is from one of my cc teachers. I haven’t looked into getting my associates degree because I really want to enter as a freshman and get the full experience.

Do you think my dual credits will make up for my lack of AP’s?

I’ve always know UNC was a LEAP for me but I figured I won’t know unless I apply.

I am pretty confident about NC State but I surly won’t even attempt to garuntee anything, everything is on par or exceeding except my math SAT, but I do have “agricultural exerpience”, plus the legacy so who knows.

Can’t take the sat or again – Senior.

bumpity bump. :D
