Your SAT score is solid, and you’ve definitely had some unique experiences with living abroad that will surely give you an edge. Your volunteer work is also quite impressive. However, you suggested that your grades aren’t the best, so that could probably be something to improve on.
NYU: accepted

Notre Dame: accepted
UPenn: accepted
Vanderbilt: denied
uMich Ann Arbor: accepted
U of Texas: accepted
UCLA: denied

I’d have to see more about your classes and extracurriculars to make a more accurate prediction, though.
If you could predict my chances too, that’d be great!

If you are looking at the business school at UMich, the pre-admission at Ross is super-competitive as they only admit very small number of students. What is your higher single sit SAT score? UMich don’t superscore. Their mid 50 for admission was 2040-2280 last year. International students are hard to chance.

I’ll say some of the schools will accept you, like U of T & NYU. Chance me back?

2200

Sure!

Thanks and i will

For UMich, 2200 is not bad as it is slightly above average, however, your grade may be your weakest link besides international.

I thought internationals who could pay the full ride were what most universities wanted the most since they paid the most money but guess not then since all i hear is internationals getting fucked

Most OOS are also paying full price. UMich simply have too many applicants that can pay full price from OOS. There is definitely no advantage as an international student.

I might have to disagree with a previous poster saying acceptance to upenn. With an acceptance rate of 9.9% it is impossible for anyone to simple say “yeah you’ll be accepted”

I’m not saying you won’t get in, but I’m also not saying you will.
At many top teir schools, especially ivies, you just have to apply and see what they decide.
Not trying to shoot you down, or discourage you anyway, just don’t want you to think you’re definitely going to be accepted to upenn.
I think you have good stats (keep working on the GPA, as we all need to do) and you also have interesting ECs so you will definitely get into a good school.
Good luck!

NYU: accepted.
Columbia: rejected
Notre Dame: rejected
UPenn: rejected

UCLA: accepted

Hey man thanks and i just calculated my weighted gpa if that matters. It is a 4.6, would that help my chances?

NYU: accepted
Columbia: rejected
Notre Dame: rejected
UPenn: rejected
Vanderbilt: accepted
uMich Ann Arbor: accepted
U of Texas: accepted
UCLA: accepted

i think u can get into vanderbilt

Damn haha thought it maybe helped. Is a 4,6 gpa weighted bad too? Nevermind saw the cheeky vanderbilt in

Since i am an international and go to a british school i was really wondering. Why do you take an unweighted gpa into account if it doesnt account for what you do? If i knew UW was the most important i would have just taken easy courses

StraightBars - Probably because some US high schools no longer offer IP’s at all. Kind of a trend, even at some elite schools. So the unweighted provides a baseline measure. That’s one theory anyway. Curious, if you can share how your admissions results have gone?

AP’s not IP’s, sorry
