Nation: Turkey
SAT: 1920 (M 740, R 540, W640)
SAT2 : 1C 760, 2C 780, physcs 730
GPA: 3.4(4.00
gender: male</p>

<p>excellent recommendations,
unique application essay
very strong leadership activities (created a project to raise money for needy)
too many community service...
attended European Youth Parliament
School track team, non-school basketball team (national runner up)
strong in journalism, wrote for an actual newspaper and school newspaper. won a writing contest</p>

<p>not very good senior grades. however, there is an amazing improvement in overall GPA since 9th grade.</p>

<p>not applying for financial aid..</p>

<p>If that's something I can't do very good at? Because I already took it for 4 times... How important can it be?
I mean I'm applying for engineering and have pretty good scores in math sections. It would be unfair.</p>

<p>There's no point to retake the SAT if you've already taken it four times. Just try to improve other parts of your app (essay, etc.) But, yeah, even a 740 in math is on the low end for engineering. And 540 is very low. I don't think you're chances are that great, to be perfectly honest, but you don't know until you apply.</p>
