bump again.

I’ve gotten so many great posts from all you guys, but, if im not being too picky, could someone try and guess my chance percentage at Stanford SCEA? very much appreciated, thanks so much

awesome, harvard i will chance you back very soon. bump

i’d say you would be a match or high reach for all of those schools. however, i think it would be better if u took ap calc rather than ap stats. from what i’ve heard, calc looks better.

I think you have a great chance at every school besides Stanford, Brown, UCB and Columbia. Brown and Columbia would have to be a reach. While I think UCB you have a good chance to get in but there’s also a chance of not being accepted. I believe you have a great chance at Stanford compared to others due to your legacy status. Good luck! :)

did you mean match or high match? or reach or high reach? instead of match or high reach. thanks, i cant really fit AP calc into my schedule next year, thats why im taking stat. and thanks gensaiga

Stanford - low reach
Berkeley - high match
Pomona - match
Brown - reach
Columbia - reach
NYU - low match
UCLA - low match
UCSD - low match
UCD - in
Cal Poly SLO - in

your ACT score is really good and you have a lot of ECs. you will probably get accepted to at least one of your reach schools (Stanford, Brown, Columbia) especially since you have a legacy at Stanford.

I think Stanford SCEA is a good idea for you, since you’re a legacy.

I have to agree with those who say Columbia and Brown are reaches, especially Columbia. While you have very good stats and ECs, they won’t stand out as much at those schools. You could consider a couple of other schools, too. If you like Columbia, you might like Chicago. If you like Brown, you might like Tufts.

I will definitely look into those two schools, thanks hunt.

I like Tufts, but Chicago looks too intellectual and not social enough. is Columbia like that too? I figured Columbia would have a good social scene considering it is in NYC. thanks. bump :)

bump-off the first page

One downside is you didn’t take too many AP’s continuously throughout high school. Also, you don’t seem to have a hook in your extra curriculars. Minus those two downsides your app is fantastic!

My school doesnt really offer AP classes to sophomores or freshmen, so I took honors those two years instead. thanks for the comment, xcel
