Chance...as cliche as it is...

<p>ust wanted to get some feedback from anyone out there willing to respond</p>

<p>Class Rank: 1/44
GPA: 4.41 w, 4.00 uw
Senior Classes: AP Spanish Language, Advanced Computer Apps, AP Governmnet (U.S.), AP Literature and Composition, AP Studio Art, AP Statistics</p>

<p>Have also been enrolled in a local community college, taken 9 classes there, some of which considered to be AP equivalent at my high school because my school only offers about 10 APs, currently have 4.0 on college transcript</p>

<p>Testing:

SAT II: math - 800, world - 740, chem - 730, lit - 730, spanish - 700
ACT: 34 e/w, 34 m, 30 r, 36 s, essay: 8; composite: 34
AP: Cal BC (5), Cal AB subscore (5), World (5), English Lang (5)</p>

<p>Extracurriculars:
Karate/Taekwondo: trained for over 6 years, recently received my blackbelt, now an instructor, started teaching on-staff both children's and adult's classes, also sit on testing panels; appx 4 hrs/wk annually (9th - 12th)</p>

<p>Church Orchestra: principal clarinet, 2 hrs/wk annually (9th - 12th)</p>

<p>California University of Northridge Youth Symphony Orchestra: 1st clarinet, 3 hrs/wk 35 wks/year (11th - 12th)</p>

<p>High school band: 3rd clarinet, band served as both pep band for football games and concert band during winter and spring seasons (9th - 10th)</p>

<p>High School Bible Quiz Team: group of students who study various books of the Bible to compete in a regional competition in March (9th - 12th); co-captain 9th - 11th; captain 12th; won 1st 11th grade, 2nd in 9th and 10th</p>

<p>Medical Emergency Disaster Squad: group of students trained in first aid to help teachers and faculty during drills and in case of real emergency (9th - 12th)</p>

<p>Teacher Recs: haven't seen them, but for sure they are solid to really good
Essay: wrote about my test for blackbelt and its impact on my life; how no one expected me to achieve that</p>

<p>Attend a small Christian private school in southern california, don't know if this affects admissions; I'm a male Sri Lankan...don't know if that plays a role either? I know my test scores aren't that great too, but as a whole would i have a chance at Stanford EA?</p>
